The e-medic™ Pro-Line 8th Gen is a user-friendly, quiet and powerful desktop computer for use in the patient environment, in the laboratory or in industry. The hygiene-optimized computer makes cleaning easier and offers additional safety aspects. The steel housing has a completely closed, removable aluminium cover. It protects the interior from dust, dirt and liquids and is also available with a DVD-RW drive in the Customised version. A big plus for professional use: all interfaces are located on the back of the case. Unwanted access via the USB interface can thus be better controlled. Despite its compact and largely closed design, the e-medic™ Pro-Line 8th Gen is a powerful computer that enables the installation of a professional graphics card and is equipped with numerous interfaces. Ideal for use in hospitals, medical practices and industrial areas. In the standard configuration the e-medic™ Pro-Line 8th Gen. is equipped with: 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.1, 2x USB C, 2x RS232, 1x DVI-D, 1x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, 2x LAN | 1x Audio Out CEN/LFE/Surround/Line, 1x Audio in MIC/Line, SPDIF Out. The compact design allows the installation of a professional graphic card, FireWire, video grabber and four RS232 interfaces. These are optionally available. Our special AirBalanced technology is used to ensure stability and long maintenance intervals. We deliberately avoid the use of fan slots in the side panels, lid or base in order to ensure that the cooling air path is as direct as possible. This creates a defined airflow from the bottom front to the top back, where a black 120 mm fan is pre-installed ex works. The air is sucked in through an outlet in the bottom of the front piece. A washable filter behind the removable housing front prevents the ingress of dust and allows easy and quick cleaning without having to open the complete housing.
