This 8-inch tablet offers unlimited mobility in treatment rooms or during medical rounds. With the tablet e-medic™ 8, you can access emails, news, photos and information from anywhere. The e-medic™ 8 meets the EN 60601-1 medical standard and can therefore safely be used in the patient environment. Nobody has to go without their regular communications anymore. Its Microsoft Windows 10 operating system allows seamless integration with the desktop workstation. All native desktop applications as used on a Windows notebook or desktop PC run on this tablet as well. The customary Microsoft security solutions allow quick integration into the existing IT infrastructure. High bright Display One advantage of the 8.3-inch IPS LED screen is its high bright display, which has a brightness of 500 cd/m². When combined with a resolution of 1920x1200 (Full HD), the screen can be viewed directly from the patient’s bed. Quick and easy cleaning Equipped with an 64 GB eMMC and 4GB RAM, the tablet is as fast and powerful as a desktop workstation. The housing is classified IP 65 and allows quick and easy cleaning. Standard interfaces such as USB 2.0, micro USB 2.0, Mic-in and docking connection are all protected against liquid by protective caps. Drop-resistant from a height of up to 1 metre – Gorilla Glass! The display surface of the e-medic™ Tablet 8" is made from high quality Gorilla Glass. This glass has a particularly high resistance to cracks and scratches. Drops from a height of 1m, or even up to 1.8m with the optional protective frame, no harm can come to this medical tablet. Never look for a cable again Now you can charge your e-medic™ Tablet at a fixed charging point. This versatile device has additional ports, for example 3x USB 3.0, HDMI and LAN. You can even turn your Tablet into a complete computer workstation with the docking station, another monitor, mouse and keyboard, and simply work away while your e-medic™ Tablet is charging. The extra LAN connection ensures rapid integration into the existing IT infrastructure.
